THE 3 LAKES - NAIVASHA BICYCLE SAFARI - 2 DAYS 1 NIGHT

A scenic and educative 60 km bicycle adventure in Naivasha exploring Kenya's most touristic destination on two wheels. Pedal the shores of Lake Naivasha, camp by Lake Oloiden, hike the Crater Lake Sanctuary, and finish with a farm experience at Ecoscapes Sanctuary, nestled deep across the vast greenhouse flower farms west of Lake Naivasha.

Day One

Three amazing stages of cycling await. We take Moi South Road into Hell's Gate National Park for a 15 km tour, followed by a hiking and walking excursion through the dramatic Ol Njorowa Gorges. After a sumptuous picnic lunch, we head to the Olkaria KenGen geothermal spa to soak in the steam-heated swimming pool. Just before sunset, we cycle 12 km (optional) down to Oloiden Flamingo Campsite for dinner, a bonfire, and overnight accommodation.

Day Two

A morning 5 km cycling trip brings us to Crater Lake a green soda lake sitting at the bottom of an extinct volcano and a gem of pure tranquility. We walk, relax, watch wildlife, and enjoy a picnic bush breakfast inside this small private sanctuary centered around a saline-alkaline lake.

Between noon and 1 o'clock, we exit Crater Lake Sanctuary for the final 5 km ride to Ecoscapes Sanctuary a family-owned organic market garden on the west shore of Lake Naivasha for lunch, a farm tour, and a night stay, before packing up and road-tripping back to Nairobi at dusk.
